Natural breast enlargement with liposuction and fat transfer (also known as fat grafting) to the breast is a very demanding and technically demanding treatment. Only board-certified plastic surgeons with sufficient qualifications and experience are eligible to perform this procedure due to the high level of expertise required when performing breast augmentation.
The procedure starts with deliberate, focused liposuction on areas of the body of a woman with excess, high-quality fat. The belly, flanks, “muffin-top," external thighs, and inner knees are the areas most often treated with liposuction. The liposuction is carefully performed so that the donor area’s aesthetics are respected and that sufficient, high-quality fat is collected for transfer to the breasts. Then the extracted fat is processed gently and prepared for transfer to the breasts.
The processed fat is transferred or grafted into the breast using tiny cannulae inserted through very small incisions in the lower part of the breast. The fat transfer is a painstaking, technically complex aspect of the procedure since the fat must be injected only in particular areas of the breast and in specific ways to optimize fat survival, breast volume and final outcome.

Natural Breast Augmentation Recovery
Natural breast enlargement with liposuction and fat transfer under general anaesthesia with surgery usually lasts between two and three hours, depending on the complexity and number of areas to be targeted by liposuction. Patients recover in the luxury of a private recovery suite with a nurse in the recovery room devoted exclusively to them and their comfort.
Patients may have drains in areas where liposuction has been done, which are normally removed within three to five days. Compression wear must be worn in places where liposuction has been done and a supporting bra must be worn for six weeks. Most patients are able to go back to work within 5-7 days, drive when they are no longer taking narcotics pain killers, and return to full exercise for six weeks.
Which are better breast implants or fat transfer?
The greatest benefit of fat transfer over breast enlargement is that it uses the patient’s own tissues to make the breasts look and feel as natural as possible. … For one, its effectiveness is not as reliable as breast implants – some fat will not survive the operation and will dissolve by being reabsorbed by the body.
Can your body reject fat transfer?
For obvious reasons, your body is likely to respond better to their own fat deposits than to foreign material (though modern implants often have very low rejection rates). If you want the lowest possible risk of rejection, a fat transfer procedure is the best way to go. Visit healthdirect.gov.au for more info.
Natural Breast Augmentation Before and After
While natural breast enlargement with liposuction and fat transfer sounds like a dream come true, there are risks and reported side effects associated with surgery. With other procedures, there is a chance of bleeding, infection, and fluid collection associated with liposuction and fat transfer to the breast. Luckily, most of these problems are easily dealt with in an outpatient environment.
The most important thing to remember when considering natural breast increase with fat transfer is that not all of the fat transferred to the breast can survive for a long time. Generally, with a proper procedure and a professional surgeon, 70-80 per cent of the fat injected will survive and live forever. Final volume and outcomes are noticeable from 3 weeks to 3 months. If the patient needs an even greater increase in breast volume, additional liposuction sessions and fat grafting may be done on the breast.
How long does a fat transfer breast augmentation last?
Breast raise is a cosmetic surgery procedure intended to improve the shape of breasts. This enhancement is also done with breast implants but normally involves maintenance surgery every 10 to 15 years.
